Apple Hill!

Our first stop was High Hill Ranch, one of the bigger farms in Apple Hill. We're lucky we picked this place first because we went on a weekday and most all of the other farms were closed or only semi-open (no pony rides and other kid-friendly activities.) Luckily High Hill Ranch was the place to be that day!
.
By the time we got there, it was lunch time so Nguyen decided on their BBQ chicken plate:
.he'll probably kill me for this one:
.While Nguyen chowed down on his chicken, I had other ideas. I read online that High Hill Ranch had some scrumptious apple donuts so I scouted those out REAL fast.
cinnamon sugar apple donut- DELISH!

.After our lunch (yes, I had a donut for lunch) we headed over to the fishing pond and let Cameron have his first ever fishing experience.
.
I felt pretty good out there being the only female who knew how to cast a line (thanks, dad!)
Even my own husband (the man who sells fish for a living) had not a clue what to do with that pole. We (I) got the line out and waited patiently.

While we waited, Nguyen decided to take a potty break and wouldn't you know that within seconds of him walking away, we had a bite on our line! Cameron started screeching with excitement. I told him to reel in the fish but he was too excited to be that coordinated so I had to help a bit..
Everyone was ALL excited about our quick catch (not to toot our own horn or anything) Haha!
Daddy eventually came back and couldn't believe we "actually" caught one. He said that..the brat!

.The fishing experience made our day. Cameron wanted it to be dinner time right then and there so he could cook his fish.
.
We wandered around for a bit longer and tried to go find a few more lively farms but nothing struck our fancy so we headed home so Cameron could cook his fish.
It was a great day!
