Snips and Snails: 3

10/16 On the way home from the Harvest Festival I hear Cameron shout "eeeew!" I asked him what was wrong and he said "oh nevermind...I thought I had something slimy on my jeans...on my APPLE BOTTOM jeans."

10/18 Cameron discovered a small air freshner disc in the cup holder of my car, about the size of a nickel. He asked me what it was and I told him it was an "air freshner." Next thing I know, he is sticking it in his ear. I quickly realized my mistake in not pronouncing my words more clearly. He thought I said "EAR freshner."

10/30 After watching Cameron jump around the living room, it was apparent he needed to use the restroom. He tends to hold it for as long as possible and HATES to sit in the bathroom alone. I asked him to come along with me to the bathroom as I had to go too (been drinking LOTS of water lately-yay me!) and he agreed. I went first and flushed when I was finished. I said, "okay Cameron- your turn!" He walked in and took a big whiff and said "ahh...I like the smell of your pee, mom...it smells like cereal!" (I know that's gross but it was funny!) so then he proceeds to go potty himself and as he is doing his business says "let's see how mine smells!" (meanwhile, I am laughing so hard, I'm crying.) He finishes and says "yep. Mine smells like cereal also. Why don't you take a whiff?!" I couldn't stop laughing. As he watched me in hysterics, he said "that's obnoxious."
11/22 While I was cooking dinner Cameron sat at the counter and played as he watched me. He says to me, "Mom, are you attracted to police officers?" I just stared at him in disbelief. I still haven't figured out where he learned the word "attracted" or how he knew to use it in that context.

11/23 Cameron and Nguyen were watching TV and Cameron, out of nowhere, looks at Nguyen and asks, "Dad, to we have chicken meat inside of us?"

Ok, I just CACKLED! Cameron is one funny little dude. Love him.

I thought of him yesterday when we were feeding Malea some "baak baak, chicken chicken."

TMI, but I've noticed that if I have a lot of coffee...my pee smells a bit like Golden Crisp cereal.

And THAT is the weirdest comment I've left anywhere EVER. LOL.

Our family always chuckle over our "asparagus pee". Or as my husband likes to call it, "A pair a guts pee"...So, your post made me laugh out loud!

So. Are you attracted to police officers? :P

Oh, that Cameron reminds me of another silly 4 year old I know. :)

These were great, Sheree. I'm so glad you're sharing them with us.

Adam also recently learned we are "made of meat" and he also smells my pee...only he tells me it stinks. lol I think my favorite one was the policeman comment. I'd love to know what Nguyen thought of that one. :)

I just craked up reading your post. I think it's great that you actually rememebered what he said when. My son comes up with some classic statements which I need to note down in future because afterwards I'm always trying to rememeber what it was and can't.
Thanks for sharing, good to smile first thing in the morning!
