Tiffany and Julian tie the knot!!

This past Saturday marked the day my best friend got married. It was such a beautiful day and I am not convinced it could have gone any smoother.
.
On Friday night, all of us girls (bridesmaids) spent Tiff's last single night with her in her apartment. Tiff even surprised us with a special slideshow she had proffessionally created for us. It was such a sweet gift.
.
In the morning, we headed over to the Mother of the Bride's house to get ready for the very special day.

Ashley helped Tiffany with her wedding day make-up and did a fabulous job!
.

.

.

For obvious reasons, I don't have any pictures of the actual ceremony but I can ASSURE you it was absolutely beautiful and I am so glad I got to stand up there with all of my girls!

.
After the ceremony, we all piled into the limo and had to keep from barfing all over the place because of this:

.

(I'm totally kidding...they were sweet)
.
We finally made our way to the reception and had an absolutely wonderful evening.
.
One of my favorite moments from the evening was the bouquet toss.

(check out Lauren...she means business!)
.

.
SHE CAUGHT IT!!
.

(Jason, her boyfriend was seen sprinting out of the reception hall just seconds after the bouquet landed in her eager hands.)
.
The bride later joined us on the dance floor:

where we all had BEYOND a great time.

Later in the evening, there was not a dry eye to be found when Tiff shared a dance with her sweet grandpa on the dancefloor.

.
See? We're crying!
.

.
We danced until we could dance no more.
I'd say the bride and groom were pretty pooped out as well.
.

.
The day was such a beautiful success and I am so happy for my friend.
I love you, Tiffany and Julian!

A day at the bridal salon!

My best friend Tiffany recently got engaged and since the majority of us were in town for the holidays, we decided to take a trip to the Bridal salon to scope out some dresses.
We decided to embarrass Tiff along the way :)

Tiff's bridal consultant had a brief meeting with her about what she was looking for in a dress; what she loved, what she hated, etc...
HATED.
She felt like a mummy.
But she still had fun with it.

Definitely not.

Eh...not so much. I believe this was the dress that she felt made her look as if she were
"with child."

On to some winners...

You can't tell from this pic, but this gown is covered in lace and had beadwork throughout the entire dress. I think Tiff decided this was the style of dress she was going for, and we agreed it looked great on her.

The front of the dress with a sash we had the consultant grab so we could envision.

She likes!

The back

Some more detail...

After we figured out what look Tiff was going for, she told us to look through a catalog and pick out dresses for her to try on. She said "just tell the lady, don't even tell me."
(insert evil snicker here)

This was the first one we picked.
Another winner!

Pretty!

Back

Remember how she said " Just tell the lady, don't even tell me"

???
Lauren told the consultant to bring the most hideous dress she had in the store. She came back with this powder blue monstrosity. I wish the color showed up more in the pics. When I saw Tiff in this dress, my knees buckled and I was on the ground in tears. Literaly.

Maybe you had to be there. :)

After Tiff's fashion show, it was time for the maids to try on some rags.
These were the winners of the afternoon. Everyone loved the dresses on because they were so flattering.

Pretty Girls!

Phew. Trying on dresses is hard work. Tiff was beat by the end of our appointment, but it was a success. She didn't find the dress, but she got a lot of great ideas!
Sorry it took so long to get these up T...i'm a slacker!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
