Gabby's turn with the T21 Traveling Afghan!!

Last week, we had the pleasure of receiving the one and only T21 Traveling Afghan! We received it from sweet Joey and Gabby couldn't have been more thrilled!

.
Joey was actually asleep when Gabby first got her hands on the afghan, but he was able to give her special instructions on how to care for it before we left. ;)
.

.
She was all smiles while cuddling the afghan. It was too cute.
.

.
Soon, Joey decided to wake up and join the party...and get his hands on the afghan one last time!
.
Nice to meet you!
.

Joey, bidding farewell to the afghan.

Once we got home, we put the afghan to good use. I can't say we did anything terribly exciting and new, but Gabby definitely was a happy baby when the magical blanket was around.
.

Her new favorite gesture:

The afghan was with us for only a brief amount of time before it had to be shipped off to South Dakota for a buddy walk. We have no doubt that the next lucky recipients will feel the love and warmth that we felt as we had our turn with it!

Awww! How cute!

Technical question, do people wash it before shipping it off? 'Cause it seems like it would collect a lot of little microbial friends if you know what I mean.

Darling photos! Miss Gabby sure is getting big. I need a Gabby fix soon! BTW, to Kyla, yes, I washed the blanket before passing it on to Sheridan. Lots of slobber gets passed onto that blanket, so washing is a good thing :-)
