2 blogs in 3 days... I am a blog whore

Its me Nguyen again... I just started reading all of Sheree's blogs and I believe she reveals too much information into our private lives, so after today this blog will no longer exist. Just Kidding.

Well, like Sheree said we had a great time in Monterey with some great people. Let me preface this blog by letting you guys know that my family runs a wholesale seafood company, so you can fully understand my mind set going into the aquarium.

The whole time we were in the aquarium I couldn't help but think about how much money I could fetch for some of these fish there. There was this huge tuna swimming in a tank that all the kids thought was so cool. Everytime I looked at that same tuna I kept thinking, damn I could easily get at least 1,200 bucks for that fat bastard.

It was hard for me to enjoy the tuna exibit because there were all these signs and brochures talking about sustainability and how we were over-fishing the ocean out of tunas. It didn't make me feel bad about selling tuna, I was just pissed the aquarium was letting people know that we were over-fishing them.

Hey, if it comes down to a choice between my mortgage payment or saving some damn tunas, "the chicken of the sea" don't stand a friggin' chance. Starkist can "star-kiss" my ass. All this ranting and I haven't even gotten to the seals yet!!!

Sheree- I'm totally enjoying your blog-whore husband! Not that I don't enjoy you, too, but its a fun change.

My name is Sarah said...

This is Sarah's mom, Joyce I am rolling with laughter here in Ohio - the tuna - $1200 really??? I might have to dig out the old scuba gear. Love your point of view.
